Service Description

The Sega G80 platform was largely built on Sega's Convert-a-Cab design concept. While innovative at the time, many games were poorly or improperly converted in the field. Frequent service calls also added dubious and less than ideal 'fixes' to get a game running in minimal time. After decades of storage and a largely indeterminate history, one must take certain precautions before simply applying power to the cabinet. We will walk you through the basics of what to look for and the proper, stepwise procedure for determining the working status of your game. We can also discuss repair options based on your level of familiarity and expertise with vector games. Consultation can be done via phone or video conference depending on your personal preference.
